The following are some achievements from the
last 30 years and the collection of 200 plus trophies from Motocross, Super
X, Enduro and Mountain bike racing. ·
started
riding motorbikes at the age of 5 on an ex-army BSA
500. ·
began riding
in the Yamaha Precision Riding Team performing shows from Toowoomba to
Cairns earning money to pay for his first motorbike at age
14. ·
started
racing in 1978 age 14 at Echo Valley as a junior, winning all
races. ·
became part of
the Geoff Udy Suzuki Stunt Team in 1979 performing in shows from Toowoomba
Royal Show, Brisbane Ekka and Sydney. Sponsored by Geoff Udy Suzuki 1979 -
1982 By age 16,
Bryan had won many races around south east Qld which includes Downs Series
Junior Champion, Mountain Man Junior
Champion. Moving on to
the seniors division at age 16, he won his first race as a senior and, on
the same day came second to the current Qld Champion in the A B and
selected C grade race. From
then Bryan was fast tracked to A grade to compete against Australia’s
best. In 1980,
Bryan raced in the first Australian Super cross placing 8th
following this up in 1981 with 4th place in the Queensland Motocross
championship &
5th place in
Toowoomba Mountain Man Motocross. The 1982
Lang Park Super-cross saw Bryan placed 8th riding against American and
European Champions. ·

1995, Bryan started Mountain Bike racing winning the Qld
Championship series in the

Thunder-X Motocross series placed 1st vintage class,
1st four- wheeler class, 2nd over
35’s ·
2002/03/04
Thunder-X Motocross series placed 1st vintage and placed
1st in many over
35’s and open class races

2004
Australian vintage Motocross placed 2nd behind Glen
Bell It was while Bryan
was preparing to race the Australian vintage Motocross championship to be held
8/9th August 2009 and
hoping to go one better, that he fell from his motorcycle on what he says was
a very small jump dislocating the c6/c7 vertebrae in his neck and is now
classed as an incomplete Quadriplegic rehabilitating in hospital aiming
to be home by Christmas 2009.

Age 15 left
school and did an apprenticeship in Carpentry/Joinery continuing in this
trade with various employers on until 1988 ·
1988 started work as a potter with
Grant Lehmann Pottery and continued with Blue Forest Pottery at
Withcott ·
2000 started
work with Endeavour as a supervisor progressing to Training and
Development Manager/Workplace Health and Safety Officer

2008 Starting
work for USQ as Workplace Health and Safety
